Samsung Galaxy A3 2017: What’s new?

Samsung’s Galaxy A3 from 2016 was a solid 4.7-inch smartphone, boasting decent cameras and a striking Super AMOLED screen for a pleasingly slender asking price. In 2017, Samsung hasn’t meddled with much of the specs, keeping the same screen size and resolution. Design wise it doesn’t look much different either, but this year’s model is water resistant and boasts a fingerprint sensor. The camera tech has also been boosted, so you can expect more detail-packed snaps.

Samsung Galaxy A5 2017: What’s new?

You now get dual 16-megapixel cameras packed inside the Galaxy A5 in this 2017 model, a big upgrade over the previous camera tech. The A5 2017 is also water resistant, a new feature for the Galaxy A Series. However, you still get a 5.2-inch screen with a Full HD resolution, plus a similar-sized battery and the same memory and storage space.

Samsung Galaxy A7 2017: What’s new?

Last year’s Galaxy A7 was a 5.5-inch phone, but the 2017 update is a 5.7-inch handset just like Samsung’s ill-fated Galaxy Note 7. You still get a Full HD resolution however, while the Super AMOLED visuals are again eye-pleasingly vibrant.

This year’s Galaxy A7 is now water resistant too, with a bigger battery for increased longevity. You also get the same dual 16-megapixel cameras as the Galaxy A5 2017.
