Popular third-party Twitter client Tweetbot was updated yesterday with a brand new design. The refreshed version of the app closely follows Apple’s iOS 7 redesign, with slick animations and flatter, simpler icons helping to give the app a fresh makeover. Notable differences between Tweetbot 3 and the old Tweetbot include rounded avatars, a lighter default theme, and larger image previews when clicking through to tweets. Functionality otherwise remains unchanged. Anyone with a login token from the old Tweetbot won’t have to scramble to secure a new one either.
The new Tweetbot is available on the App Store right now for $2.99, although the price will rise to $4.99 in the future.
