Tushek to unveil Renovatio T500 in the UK

Want a supecar that stands out from the usual Italian suspects? Well you could do a hell of a lot worse than checking out the forthcoming Tushek Renovatio T500, a Slovenian monster set to be shown off for the first time at the forthcoming Salon Privé here in Bighty.

The T500 just became Slovenia's most exciting export.

Hand-built and made to order in Slovenia, the Renovatio T500 may not come from the usual Italian or German stable usually associated with supercars but the right ingredients are most certainly there.
The supercar looks like a cross between a Noble and a Lamborghini, with a bit of Pagani’s mad design thrown in for good measure, which means it’s going to get attention from anyone blessed with the gift of eyeballs.

People with ears should hear you coming, too, thanks to an Audi-built 4.2-litre V8 that provides 450bhp, propelling the car to 62mph in 3.7 seconds and then up to a maximum just shy of 200mph.

Tushek promises the Renovatio T500 will offer a “sensual driving experience” that offers “user-friendly performance and handling”, according to the company spiel. We’re not sure what it means by sensual (it doesn’t have any back seats for a start) but you can expect it to do plenty of hugging (mostly of the floor) thanks to that enormous rear spoiler.

David Bagley of Salon Privé said of the launch: “We are honoured to be chosen as the platform to launch the Renovatio T500 in the UK. Its groundbreaking aero-dynamics, blistering performance to a near 200mph and back to zero again and race-specification materials construction is a sight to behold.

“This car has to be seen to be believed — and there’s only one place in the world to do that this summer – Salon Privé 2012,” he concluded.

For the privilege of owning this serious piece of machinery, you’ll need to part with a cool €300,000.
In case you were wondering, Tushek is named after its founder and racing driver Aljosa Tushek.

Aesthetically, it's part-Noble, part-Lambo, part GT racer and we love all of it.
